Gold, which used to be available at Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 76,000 per 10 grams, has now reached Rs. 1,10,000. Gold and silver rates are setting new records every day.

According to the website of the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 24-carat gold rose to ₹1,21,799 per 10 grams on Wednesday.
Silver also rose, reaching ₹1,50,783 per kilogram. Gold today rose ₹1,109 in the domestic futures market, reaching a new peak of ₹1,22,220 per 10 grams.
There has been a strong jump in Silver (Silver Latest Rate) futures on MCX. It has risen by Rs 2,387 or 1.63 percent and reached a new record of Rs 1,48,179 per kg.
According to All India Sarafa Association, gold has become expensive in Delhi's bullion market (Delhi Gold Silver rate) and has reached a new level of Rs 124000 per 10 grams. However, silver has become cheaper by Rs 3400 from its highest level and has come down to Rs 1,54,000 per kg.

According to All India Sarafa Sangh, the price of gold in the capital Delhi's bullion market (Delhi Gold Rate) has increased by ₹700 on Tuesday and has reached a new record of ₹124000 per 10 grams.
Somewhere silver has fallen by ₹3400 from its new level and has come down to ₹1,54,000 per kilogram. Gold of 99.9 percent purity (Sona Ka Bhav) had closed at ₹1,23,300 per 10 grams on Monday.
Gold of 99.5 percent purity in the local bullion market increased by ₹700 on Tuesday and reached its highest level of ₹1,23,400 per 10 grams. In the previous market session, it had closed at ₹1,22,700 per 10 grams.
Expert said a big thing about the prices of gold and silver -
"Gold prices reached record highs, even though they were technically in overbought territory, on expectations of a more accommodative monetary policy from the Federal Reserve and continued demand for safe-haven assets," said Saumil Gandhi, senior analyst (commodities) at HDFC Securities. Meanwhile, various departments in the US have been shut down for seven days, with no resolution in sight.
