A new mode of transport will be available
The Shamli-Gorakhpur Expressway (Shamli Gorakhpur Expressway News) is being constructed to provide a new direction to transportation from Western Uttar Pradesh to Purvanchal.
This expressway will be approximately 750 kilometers long and will cost 35,000 crore rupees to build. This expressway is set to transform the face of Uttar Pradesh's roads.

Notification issued
The Ganga Expressway is scheduled to begin in Gogwan Jalalpur village in the Thana Bhawan area of Shamli district. According to the NHAI project director, a notification will be issued early next year.

The initial project was to extend the expressway from Shamli to Gorakhpur. However, a proposal to connect it to Panipat was later added. This expressway is now being developed as the Panipat–Shamli–Gorakhpur Corridor.
