22 districts and 37 tehsils of UP will get super-fast connectivity, a new expressway will be built

Now, another new expressway is going to be built in Uttar Pradesh. This will make travel much easier for millions of people. This new expressway will pass through 22 districts and 37 tehsils.

Now there is another good news for the people of Uttar Pradesh. Actually, the construction of a new expressway has been announced in the state. Till now, the longest expressway of the state, Ganga Expressway, is 570 kilometers long.
But the new expressway (News Expressway) will be 700 kilometers long. This expressway will be made 6 lane.
This expressway will be developed completely in green field form. It will provide direct connectivity to the people of 22 districts. With its construction, the land rates here will also skyrocket.
The new proposed expressway (News Expressway) will go from Gorakhpur to Shamli, which will connect east to west UP. Currently, the construction work of the expressway going from Meerut to Prayagraj is going on.
The new expressway, Gorakhpur Shamli Expressway, will be about 700 kilometers long. After its construction, it will become very easy for the people of eastern Uttar Pradesh to travel to Mussoorie, Dehradun, Haridwar and Rishikesh.
Currently, it takes more than 12 hours to complete this journey. But with the construction of the new expressway, this distance will be reduced to just 6 hours.
Land will become expensive in 37 tehsils
The Gorakhpur Shamli Expressway will connect 22 districts and 37 tehsils of the state. After its construction, land rates in these districts may increase.
It will be built entirely using greenfield technology. This means that all the expressway's energy needs will be met by solar power. The new expressway will not only make travel easier but will also reduce the distance from Gorakhpur to Shamli by 200 kilometers.
The backward districts of the state will also benefit
The new expressway, which runs from Gorakhpur to Shamli in western Uttar Pradesh, includes the districts of Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Balrampur, Bahraich, Sitapur, Lucknow, Hardoi, Bijnor, Amroha, Saharanpur, Agra, Muzaffarnagar, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Rampur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sambhal, Meerut, and Shamli. Land prices in all these districts will rise and new employment opportunities will be created. Once completed, it will be possible to travel from Gorakhpur to Haridwar in just eight hours.
How much will it cost
The Gorakhpur Shamli Expressway will be constructed by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). NHAI is preparing the DPR for this expressway.
According to reports, surveys have been completed in several districts. It is believed that after land acquisition, ₹35,000 crore will be spent on the expressway's construction. The construction of this expressway will accelerate economic activity in the state.
