Which employees will get DA hike?

In fact, the Arunachal Pradesh government has announced a 3 percent increase in dearness allowance for state employees and pensioners. This DA has now increased from 55 percent to 58 percent, effective July 1. This increase in DA will also apply to India Service officers.

Increased DA will be available with the salary of October

Chief Minister Pema Khandu says that this decision taken by the government will be beneficial for thousands of employees and pensioners of the state. 

He says that the arrears from July to September will be given in cash and the revised DA (Dearness Allowance) and inflation relief will be added to the salary and pension of October. 

Now this is the second increase in DA/DR in the state this year, before this, DA was increased by 2 percent in May, taking it from 53 percent to 55 percent.

Which employees will get the benefit? 

The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP), representing Arunachal Pradesh state employees (Arunachal Pradesh Employees news), has announced this. 

According to the organization, this increase will directly benefit more than 75,000 regular employees, pensioners, and AIS officers. This will encourage dedicated service towards the overall development of Arunachal Pradesh.

The government will be burdened with so much

It should be noted that this change follows a national-level revision. The central government also announced a 3 percent DA increase (DA Hike in AP) for central government employees and pensioners effective October 1, bringing the DA to 58 percent.

All centralised employees and pensioners will benefit from the DA hike, which is around 49 lakh employees and 69 lakh pensioners, and its financial impact on the government could be around Rs 10,084 crore.

Know what is dearness allowance 

Dearness Allowance (DA Hike news) is given to employees to mitigate the impact of inflation on employees and pensioners. It is calculated monthly by the Labor Bureau based on the Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW). 

This increase in Uttar Pradesh will have a positive impact on the pockets of state employees and pensioners, and will help mitigate the rising pressure of inflation.
